MedExplainAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by HERRERAAISOFTWARE LLC, provides AI-based educational explanations of medical information. We are committed to transparency and handle all data in strict accordance with the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement, including the Health and Medical Apps Policy.

2. Medical & Health Disclaimer:
MedExplainAI is NOT a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. All outputs are for informational and educational purposes only. Always seek the advice of a physician or other qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical condition.

3. Data Minimization & Collection:
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide our service:

• Personal Information: We do not require account creation and do not collect names, addresses, or government IDs.
• Sensitive Health Information: Any medical text, documents, or images you upload are processed locally or in volatile memory only. This content is never stored on our servers and is discarded immediately after the explanation is generated.
• Device & Usage Data: We collect non-identifying technical data (e.g., OS version, device model, app crashes) to improve performance.
• Payment Data: All transactions are handled by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your credit card or banking information.

4. How We Use and Share Data:

• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, rent, or trade your data. Specifically, your uploaded health content is never shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, or independent research.
• No AI Training: Your uploaded medical content is never used to train AI models or improve our algorithms beyond your specific session.
• Service Providers: We use encrypted cloud infrastructure for temporary processing. These providers are contractually prohibited from retaining or using your data.

5. Permissions:
MedExplainAI requests the following permissions only when necessary:

• Camera/Storage: To allow you to upload images or documents for interpretation.
• Internet: To process your requests via our secure, encrypted API.
  You can revoke these permissions at any time in your device settings.

6. Data Retention and Deletion:

• Uploaded Content: Deleted immediately after processing.
• Technical Logs: Retained for a maximum of 30 days for troubleshooting purposes.
• Your Rights: Since we do not store personal profiles, "deletion" is best achieved by uninstalling the app. If you have contacted support, you may request the deletion of your email correspondence at any time.

7. Children’s Privacy:
MedExplainAI is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete it immediately.

8. Security:
We utilize industry-standard encryption (AES-256) for data in transit. Our "In-Memory" processing architecture ensures that your sensitive documents never touch a permanent storage disk.
